Three Rivers School board approves contract with 300 employees

GRANTS PASS, OR - The Three Rivers School Board has approved a two-year labor contract with 300 employees of the Three Rivers School District (TRSD). The contract was approved by the Board during their Regular Session held on Monday.

The two-year contract includes 300 classified employees. Classified employees are generally employees of the district that are not teachers or administrators. Classified positions at TRSD include office managers, office help, teacher aides and librarians.

Under the new contract, the 2006-2007 cost for classified employees is over $16,000 less than it was in 2005-2006.
