City seeks applications for historic buildings commission
CITY OF GRANTS PASS HISTORIC BUILDINGS AND SITES COMMISSION is looking for 2 new members.
Historic Buildings and Sites Committee reviews proposed alterations to any Historic District; promotes community historic preservation; advises other interested agencies on matters related to historic preservation; identifies areas of archaeological significance and buildings of historic or architectural significance. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be a resident of the City of Grants Pass.
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements
1. Someone who is either owner of a property located within the Historic District, or the owner of a property located within a Conservation District, or the owner of a Historic Landmark as identified by Section 13.4102 of the Development Code and designated under Section 13.410 of the Development Code
2. Licensed architect/designer.
ALL INTERESTED PARTIES ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY.

Term of appointment is for 2 years. The deadline for applications is Monday, February 12, 2007.
